Got some videos up for Halo Wars, links in the Strategy section. While not the best editing, for the amount of time I spent on them and the conditions I did it under I’m rather pleased. More to come if I ever get any time off (and internet) and maybe, just maybe, better editing. If you have some suggestions for a tutorial or video contact me and let me know.

Been awhile since I’ve updated on here. Then again with the absence of LAN’s why would I update? Anyways, no I’m not updating to announce the attempt of a LAN. Free time has been non-existent for me and the interest in playing has been nil.  Everyone seems to have lost their interest and I can see why. Why should you pack all your stuff up to only play a nights worth of Halo and then drag it all back when you could stay home and play there? In the old days it was because no one had high speed internet and we generally had a blast getting together and fragging each other. I will miss the atmosphere and the good times but all good things must end. Instead of just letting the site drift into limbo; like I had been doing, I’m going to be posting tutorials, demonstrations, and the like on the two newest binge games I’ve gotten into, Left 4 Dead and Halo Wars. I’ve shot the video and plan to add commentary and upload them soon.

Amazingly, I have some free time next weekend! So, I kinda thought I might just have a LAN on Saturday finally. Dunno about you all but I know I’m rusty.

Going to be having a LAN at the Junction City town sale this Saturday from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Challenge the local talent or just get your game on.

Well, just had a LAN tonight with some old and new turnouts. Kinda a spur of the moment thing since I got a four day break from work. Maybe we’re coming out of hiatus soon, never know.

All LAN activities are canceled until otherwise noted. Sorry for the delay in addressing this but the assholes at IBUYPOWER can’t seem to get anything done right with the repairs to my computers power supply. Hopefully we’ll be back after our winter hibernation.

Well it’s gonna be a cold one again this week. So I have to cancel the LAN yet again. But I do hope to get on XBL again. Join in if you can.

As I have stated in the past, I have been getting a lot of traffic and correspondences/requests from other LAN’s, groups, and the general public. Generally it’s been a good thing, making ties with other groups, building a community, things like that. But lately it’s been from the wannabe MLG ‘Pros’ with no MLG experience at all looking to get sponsorship or tournament wins from my site. I realize many of them are young and want to get noticed and succeed and it’s nice to have a dream and work toward it, but the increasing amount of ‘teams’ looking for sponsorship and/or tournament wins - which I’ve had no tournaments since the beginning months of the LAN - is just getting absurd. I’d love to have a tournament for all those asking but considering their… lack of age, time, and most likely transportation - many would have their parents drive them - I can’t really expect much. As for sponsorship, I don’t bring in lots of money doing the LAN; it’s a hobby basically and personally I’m not swimming in money either. I appreciate the interest and all it’s just become way too extreme.

I think I’m going to cancel the LAN for this week because of the low temperature forecast for the weekend however, I kinda hope to play on XBL that night instead. My GT is Hungry Anorexic. Long story, not so funny name. Hopefully see you online, internet availability permitting.
